02. It's a day of Macaroni Soup

Sunday, April 22

Drowning past regrets in tea and cigarettes.

Right now I'm experiencing about a million different emotions and it's exhausting. It's the music's doing. Every song brings about a different set of emotions.

I woke up to sunlight spilling into the room and unto my face. I hate it. That aside, I had a dreamless night and I like dreamless nights so it sorta balanced out my mood for the day.

Our pay came in and Nic bought me a dress. Okay, the very second I had that sentence out, Madonna's 'Material Girl' started playing:

"Living in a material world
And I am a material girl"

I got all weird out when I saw (in this case, heard) the aptness of the song. I'm like, "Hey God, you mumbled?" I had myself a laugh.

In other news, we were rocking to 'Freestyler' (old-school ain't it!) in the car just before we came back. In the carpark with the hazard lights on and stomach acid in my mouth from indigestion. The prata from Casuarina isn't sitting well. Instead of feeling satiated, I feel viciously nauseous. Like I just ate durian with wasabi and rancid bacon, with a punch of gas, in that particular order. While we're on the topic of food and music, can anyone remember just how good Metallica sound? Or "Life in Mono" which was featured on the Great Expectations Soundtrack? Pulsating dreamily with eerie harpsichords and sound like someone whispering secrets in her sleep. This song can bring about an orgasm.

It's so erotic.

My immune system is cruel and twisted. I just recovered 2 weeks ago and all that is left to be treated is cough. Now every part of my body is aching again and water feels like gravels down my throat.

To top the list of random and poorly summed up tid bits for my life in the past week, school has been easy, amidst new friends, similar interests, similar sexuality preferences, raw nerves, terrible weather.

If I could just get rid of computing coursework it would be a really nice time to be in school. The computer is good for internet and storing of digital files, the end. Before, I had a really wonderful and understanding relationship with computers. As long as they don't eat up my stuff or go screensaver mode on me, we're good. Now school has complicated our relationship by introducing Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and its other cousins.

One word to describe my classmates: Quirky - the way I like 'em. (:

There is much fun to be had.
